After 3 years of hard work, we are excited to announce the official launch of Leneda (Luxembourg’s Energy Data Platform), a cutting-edge initiative aimed at transforming the way energy data is accessed, analysed, and utilized. This platform represents a significant milestone in Luxembourg’s commitment to advancing energy innovation, sustainability, and digitalization.
Our new Energy Data Platform is designed to provide a centralized, secure, and user-friendly environment for accessing a wide range of energy-related data. This includes information on measured energy consumption & production as well as insights on energy sharing. By making this data readily available, we aim to empower businesses, researchers, policymakers, and the public to make informed decisions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and economic growth.
Key features of the platform include:
- Comprehensive data access: users will access detailed datasets of their energy consumption and production.
- Secured environment: While promoting transparency, we also ensure that data security and privacy are paramount, adhering to the highest standards. Every user of the platform needs to go via a digital onboarding process to confirm his identity and obtain his unique Energy ID. All accesses will be logged and can be consulted at any moment by the users.
- Easy sharing of data: users can share their energy data easily with 3rd party companies allowing them to benefit from energy consultancy services
